Kailāsa-darśana, Badarī-vāsa, and Sarasvatī–Dvaitavana Transition

Arjuna said: “O radiant one, O supremely radiant one! I reported everything exactly as it happened. To Mātali I related the whole undertaking in detail, and he in turn conveyed it fully to Indra, the king of the gods. When Indra heard of the destruction of Hiraṇyapura, the thwarting of the demons’ magical stratagems, and the slaying in battle of the mighty Nivātakavacas, he—together with the Maruts and the other gods—was filled with joy. Praising me with words of approval, he embraced me affectionately, smiled, and, in a gesture of intimate blessing, smelled my head. Then the lord of the gods repeatedly comforted me and, with the assembled deities, spoke these sweet words: ‘Pārtha, in war you have accomplished a deed that is impossible even for gods and asuras.’”
