ततो&हं देवदेवाय रुद्राय प्रयतो रणे

Transliteration

tato ’haṃ devadevāya rudrāya prayato raṇe

Translation

Then, in the midst of battle, I—composed and disciplined—turned in reverent address to Rudra, the God of gods, seeking his favor and guidance amid the demands of righteous combat.
