Kailāsa-darśana, Badarī-vāsa, and Sarasvatī–Dvaitavana Transition (कैलासदर्शन–बदरीवास–सरस्वतीद्वैतवनगमनम्)
व्यामोहयं च तान् सर्वान् रथमार्गैश्चरन् रणे तेडन्योन्यमभिसम्मूढा: पातयन्ति सम दानवान्,राजन्! उस समय मैंने विद्या-बलका आश्रय लेकर महती बाण-वर्षके द्वारा उनके अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंकी भारी बौछारको रोका और युद्ध-भूमिमें रथके विभिन्न पैंतरे बदलकर विचरते हुए उन सबको मोहमें डाल दिया। वे ऐसे किंकर्तव्यविमूढ हो रहे थे कि आपसमें ही लड़कर एक-दूसरे दानवोंको धराशायी करने लगे
arjuna uvāca | vyāmohayaṃś ca tān sarvān rathamārgaiś caran raṇe te ’nyonyam abhisammūḍhāḥ pātayanti sma dānavān, rājan |
Arjuna said: “O King, moving about the battlefield by varying the courses of my chariot, I threw all of them into confusion. Bewildered and unable to discern their proper course, they began striking one another, and thus those Dānavas fell—brought down by their own mutual combat. In that moment, relying on the strength of my martial knowledge, I checked the heavy shower of their weapons with a great rain of arrows.”
