Kubera-prasāda-vihāra and Counsel on Ajñātavāsa

When they had spoken thus, the Blessed Brahmā replied: “O subduer of foes, O lord of the gods! In this matter, such is the ordinance of destiny: you too will assume another body, and by that means you will bring about the end of these Dānavas.”
The verse emphasizes daiva (destiny) as a divine ordinance guiding events: the destruction of harmful forces is presented as part of cosmic order, and the hero’s duty is to act as an instrument of that ordained restoration, even through a future embodiment.
Brahmā responds to a request or concern by declaring that the end of certain Dānavas is fixed by fate, and that the addressed hero—identified as the lord of the gods and foe-slayer—will take on another body and thereby accomplish their destruction.
