अर्जुनागमनम्

Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain

विद्युद्रूपां महाघोरामाकाशे महतीं गदाम्‌ । शरैरबहुभिरभ्यार्च्छद्‌ भीमसेन: शिलाशितै:,वह विशाल एवं महा भयंकर गदा आकाशमें विद्युतकी भाँति चमक उठी। यह देख भीमसेनने पत्थर पर रगड़कर तेज किये हुए बहुत-से बाणोंद्वारा उसपर आघात किया

vidyudrūpāṃ mahāghorām ākāśe mahatīṃ gadām | śarair bahubhir abhyarcchad bhīmasenaḥ śilāśitaiḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: A huge and exceedingly dreadful mace, flashing in the sky like lightning, blazed forth. Seeing it, Bhīmasena struck at it with many arrows, their points honed on stone.
