अर्जुनागमनम्
Arjuna’s Arrival and Reunion on the Sacred Mountain
bhīmasenaṃ tataḥ kṛṣṇā kāle vacanam abravīt | vivikte parvatoddeśe sukhāsīnaṃ mahābhujam |
Then Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī), finding the right moment, addressed Bhīmasena. In a secluded part of the mountain, she spoke to the mighty-armed hero as he sat at ease.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights kāla—speaking at the right time and in the right setting. Ethical counsel is most effective when offered with discretion (vivikta) and sensitivity to circumstance, especially during adversity.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Draupadī, finding an opportune moment, speaks to Bhīma while he is seated comfortably in a secluded mountain spot—introducing a forthcoming exchange of advice or urging.
