नानामृगगणैर्जुष्टं कौन्तेय: सत्यविक्रम: । पदाति भ्रत्िभि: सार्धथ प्रातिछतत युधिछिर:,फिर सत्यपराक्रमी कुन्तीनन्दन युधिष्ठिर अपने भाइयोंके साथ पैदल ही (वृषपर्वकि बताये हुए मार्गपर) चले, जो अनेक जातिके मृगोंके झुंडोंसे भरा हुआ था

Transliteration

nānāmṛgagaṇair juṣṭaṃ kaunteyaḥ satyavikramaḥ | padātibhrātṛbhiḥ sārdhaṃ prātiṣṭhata yudhiṣṭhiraḥ ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: Then Yudhiṣṭhira, Kuntī’s son—steadfast in truth and proven in valor—set out on foot together with his brothers, proceeding along the route that had been indicated, through a region thronged with herds of many kinds of wild animals.
