Kubera’s Fivefold Nīti and Protection of the Pāṇḍavas (वैश्रवणोपदेशः)

अनुसंसार्य कौन्तेयानाशीर्भिरभिनन्द्य च । वृषपर्वा निववृते पन्थानमुपदिश्य च,उस समय उनके प्रस्थान करनेपर महातेजस्वी राजर्षि वृषपर्वाने पाण्डवोंको (उस देशके जानकार अन्य) ब्राह्मणोंके सुपुर्द कर दिया और कुछ दूर पीछे-पीछे जाकर उन कुन्तीकुमारोंको आशीर्वाद देकर प्रसन्न किया। तत्पश्चात्‌ उन्हें रास्ता बताकर वृषपर्वा लौट आये

anusaṃsārya kaunteyān āśīrbhir abhinandya ca | vṛṣaparvā nivavṛte panthānam upadiśya ca ||

After seeing the sons of Kuntī safely set forth, King Vṛṣaparvā—having followed them for a short distance—gladdened them with blessings and words of approval. Then, having indicated the proper route, he turned back.
