तेषां स मार्गान् विविधान् महात्मा विहत्य शस्त्राणि च शात्रवाणाम् | यथा प्रवीरान् निजघान भीम: परं शतं पुष्करिणीसमीपे,महामना भीमने शत्रुओंके भाँति-भाँतिके पैंतरों तथा अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंकी विफल करके उनके सौसे भी अधिक प्रमुख वीरोंको उस सरोवरके समीप मार गिराया
Translation
That great-souled hero shattered their many stratagems and rendered the enemies’ weapons futile. And just as Bhīma struck down the foremost champions, so by the lotus-pond he felled and slew more than a hundred of their leading warriors.
