Kuberasaras-darśana (Bhīma beholds Kubera’s guarded lotus-lake) / कुबेरसरः-दर्शनम्

पण्याकरवणिज्याभि: कृष्यागोजाविपोषणै: । विद्यया धार्यते सर्व धर्मरेतैद्विजातिभि:,हाट-बाजार करना, कर (लगान या टैक्स) लेना, व्यापार, खेती, गोपालन, भेड़ और बकरोंका पोषण तथा विद्या पढ़ना-पढ़ाना--इन धर्मानुकूल वृत्तियोंद्वारा द्विजगण सम्पूर्ण जगतकी रक्षा करते हैं

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: Through market dealings and the taking of taxes, through trade, through agriculture, through the tending of cattle, the rearing of sheep and goats, and through learning—studying and teaching—by these dharma-aligned livelihoods the twice-born uphold and safeguard the whole world.
