Kuberasaras-darśana (Bhīma beholds Kubera’s guarded lotus-lake) / कुबेरसरः-दर्शनम्
वैशम्पायन उवाच एवमुक्तस्तु भीमेन स्मितं कृत्वा प्लवंगम: । तद् रूप॑ दर्शयामास यद् वै सागरलड्घने,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! भीमसेनके ऐसा कहनेपर हनुमानजीने मुसकराकर उन्हें अपना वह रूप दिखाया, जो उन्होंने समुद्र-लंघनके समय धारण किया था
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: evam uktas tu Bhīmena smitaṃ kṛtvā plavaṅgamaḥ | tad rūpaṃ darśayāmāsa yad vai sāgara-laṅghane ||
Vaiśampāyana said: When Bhīma had spoken thus, the monkey-hero Hanumān, smiling, revealed to him that very form which he had assumed when he leapt across the ocean.
