Ṛśyaśṛṅgopākhyāna-praveśaḥ — Lomāśa narrates the origins of Ṛśyaśṛṅga and the Anga drought (ऋश्यशृङ्गोपाख्यान-प्रवेशः)

तदाप्रभृति कौन्तेय नरा गिरिमिमं सदा | नाशवनुवन्नभिद्रष्टं कुत एवाधिरोहितुम्‌,कुन्तीनन्दन! तभीसे साधारण मनुष्य इस पर्वतको देख भी नहीं सकते, चढ़ना तो दूरकी बात है

tadāprabhṛti kaunteya narā girim imaṁ sadā | nāśaknuvan abhidaṣṭuṁ kuta evādhirohitum, kuntīnandana ||

Lomāśa said: “From that time onward, O son of Kuntī, ordinary men have never been able even to behold this mountain; how then could they possibly climb it, O Kuntī’s son?”
