कृष्णेन विदुरं प्रति आगमन-हेतु-निवेदनम् / Krishna explains the purpose of his coming to Vidura

सो<यं बलस्थो मूढश्न॒ न करिष्यति ते वच: । तस्मिन्‌ निरर्थकं वाक्यमुक्तं सम्पत्स्यते तव,'मूढ़ दुर्योधन सैन्यसंग्रह करके अपनेको शक्तिशाली समझता है। वह आपकी बात नहीं मानेगा। उसके प्रति कहा हुआ आपका प्रत्येक वाक्य निरर्थक होगा

Translation

“That fool, relying on strength and gathering an army, thinks himself mighty; he will not heed your words. Therefore every word you speak to him will prove fruitless.”
