अज्ञातचर्या बालानामवरोधश्व माधव । न मे क्लेशतमं तत् स्यात् पुत्र: सह परंतप,'परंतप माधव! मेरे बालकोंको अज्ञातभावसे रहना पड़ा है और अब राज्य न मिलनेसे उनकी जीविकाका भी अवरोध हो गया है। पुत्रोंके साथ मुझे इतना महान् क्लेश नहीं प्राप्त होना चाहिये
Transliteration
ajñātacaryā bālānām avarodhaś ca mādhava | na me kleśatamaṃ tat syāt putraḥ saha parantapa ||
Translation
“O Mādhava, my young sons were forced to live in concealment, and now, with the kingdom denied to them, even their livelihood has been cut off. O Parantapa, such an extreme affliction should not befall me together with my sons.”
