Vaiśampāyana said: At dawn, Kṛṣṇa rose and completed all the prescribed daily rites. Then, having received the Brahmins’ permission and blessing, he set out toward the city (Hastināpura). The narrative underscores disciplined conduct and respect for religious counsel even amid urgent political and ethical crisis.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even in moments of political urgency, one should uphold dharma through disciplined daily duties and act with humility—seeking and honoring the guidance of the learned before undertaking consequential action.
