अध्याय ८२ — केशवप्रयाणे निमित्तदर्शनम्
Omens and Reception During Keśava’s Departure
श्रोतुमिच्छाम गोविन्द सत्यानि च हितानि च । “गोविन्द! माधव! उस सभामें आपके तथा भीष्म आदिके मुखसे जो दिव्य, सत्य एवं हितकर वचन प्रकट होंगे, उन सबको हमलोग सुनना चाहते हैं |। ७० है ।। आपृष्टोडसि महाबाहो पुनर्द्रक्ष्यामहे वयम्,“महाबाहो! अब हमलोग आपसे पूछकर विदा ले रहे हैं, पुन: आपका दर्शन करेंगे। वीर! आपकी यात्रा निर्विष्न हो। जब सभामें पधारकर आप दिव्य आसनपर बैठे होंगे, उसी समय बल और तेजसे सम्पन्न आपके श्रीअंगोंका हम पुनः दर्शन करेंगे”
śrotum icchāma govinda satyāni ca hitāni ca | āpṛṣṭo 'si mahābāho punar drakṣyāmahe vayam ||
We wish to hear, O Govinda, words that are true and also beneficial. “Govinda! Mādhava! In that assembly, whatever divine, truthful, and wholesome words are spoken from your mouth and from the lips of Bhīṣma and the rest—we desire to hear them all. O mighty-armed one, having asked your leave, we now depart; we shall behold you again. O hero, may your journey be without hindrance. When you enter the assembly and are seated upon the splendid throne, then shall we once more behold you—your person composed, endowed with strength and radiance.”
