Vaiśampāyana said: Vasiṣṭha and Vāmadeva, Bhūridyumna, Gaya, Kratha, Śukra, Nārada, Vālmīki, Marutta, Kuśika, and Bhṛgu—these divine seers and brahmarṣis assembled together and, honoring Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the younger brother of Indra and the giver of joy to the Yadu lineage, circumambulated him in the auspicious rightward (clockwise) manner.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic honor: even the greatest ṛṣis express reverence through dakṣiṇāvarta (clockwise) circumambulation, implying that spiritual and moral authority is recognized through humility and proper ritual respect.
A distinguished assembly of devarṣis and brahmarṣis arrives together and performs a respectful clockwise circumambulation of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, presenting him as a figure worthy of veneration and as a benefactor to the Yadu lineage.
