वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights how decisive, principled speech by a respected leader can unify a community’s will: the warriors’ lion-roar symbolizes shared courage and readiness to uphold their chosen course in a dharmic crisis.
Immediately after Sātyaki (Yuyudhāna) speaks, the gathered fighters respond with a thunderous battle-cry from all directions, marking a surge of enthusiasm and signaling that the assembly is psychologically prepared for confrontation.
