Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 69: Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Reverential Address to Sañjaya on Vāsudeva

atattvaṁ kurute tattvaṁ tena mohayate prajāḥ |

Sañjaya said: He makes what is untrue appear as truth; by that very power he deludes the people. In the ethical frame of the episode, this is a warning about how authority and charisma can lend falsehood the sheen of legitimacy, leading society into confusion and moral error.
