Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 64: Arjuna’s Instruction to Sanjaya
Message to the Kuru Assembly

Vidura said: “Arjuna accomplished that deed exactly as it was required—what then could all of those brothers together not accomplish? Therefore, recognize the Pāṇḍavas as your own brothers, and by restoring to them their rightful means of livelihood and inheritance, strengthen brotherhood with them.”

Vidura urges ethical statecraft: acknowledge the Pāṇḍavas as family and avert conflict by restoring their rightful entitlement and means of livelihood; justice and kinship must override envy and factionalism.
In the Udyoga Parva’s peace-counsel context, Vidura argues from Arjuna’s proven capability: if one brother could achieve such a feat, the united brothers are even more formidable—so the wise course is reconciliation through granting the Pāṇḍavas their due.
