Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 50 — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Bhīmasena (भीमसेनभयवर्णनम्)
यथैषां मामकास्तात तथैषां पाण्डवा अपि | पौत्रा भीष्मस्य शिष्याश्च द्रोणस्प च कृपस्थ च,तात! इनके लिये जैसे मेरे पुत्र हैं, वैसे ही पाण्डव भी हैं। दोनों ही भीष्मके पौत्र तथा द्रोण और कृपके शिष्य हैं
yathaiṣāṃ māmakās tāta tathaiṣāṃ pāṇḍavā api | pautrā bhīṣmasya śiṣyāś ca droṇasya ca kṛpasya ca ||
Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: “Dear one, just as these are my own sons, so too are the Pāṇḍavas theirs. Both sides are Bhīṣma’s grandsons and disciples of Droṇa and Kṛpa.”
