Chapter 49: Sañjaya’s Enumeration of the Pāṇḍava Coalition (पाण्डवसैन्यसमागम-वर्णनम्)

यः संश्रय: पाण्डवानां देवानामिव वासव: । तेन वो वासुदेवेन पाण्डवा अभ्ययुञज्जत,जैसे इन्द्र देवताओंके आश्रयदाता हैं, उसी प्रकार जो पाण्डवोंको शरण देनेवाले हैं, उन भगवान् वासुदेवके साथ पाण्डवोंने आपपर आक्रमण करनेकी तैयारी की है
Transliteration
yaḥ saṁśrayaḥ pāṇḍavānāṁ devānām iva vāsavaḥ | tena vo vāsudevena pāṇḍavā abhyayuñjata ||
Translation
Sañjaya said: “Just as Vāsava (Indra) is the refuge and support of the gods, so Vāsudeva is the shelter of the Pāṇḍavas. With that Vāsudeva at their side, the Pāṇḍavas have set themselves to advance against you—making ready to strike.”
