अनयो योड्यमागन्ता पुत्राणां ते दुरात्मनाम्‌ । तदस्य कर्म जानीहि सूतपुत्रस्य दुर्मते:,“तुम्हारे दुरात्मा पुत्रोंपर अन्यायके फलस्वरूप जो यह महान्‌ संकट आनेवाला है, वह सब इस दूषित बुद्धिवाले सूतपुत्र कर्णकी ही करतूत समझो

anayo yodhyam āgantā putrāṇāṃ te durātmanām | tadasya karma jānīhi sūtaputrasya durmateḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “The impending calamity that is about to befall your wicked sons as the consequence of injustice—know that to be the deed of Karṇa, the charioteer’s son, whose mind is corrupted.”
