वैशम्पायन उवाच जगाम ५ बे सो लिये तौ तेपतुस्तप: । सार्ध देवगणै: सर्वर्बहस्पतिपुरोगमै:,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! ब्रह्माजीकी यह बात सुनकर इन्द्र बृहस्पति आदि सब देवताओंके साथ उस स्थानपर गये जहाँ उन दोनों ऋषियोंने तपस्या की थी

vaiśampāyana uvāca | jagāma brahmavaco śrutvā tau devagaṇaiḥ saha | sarvair bṛhaspatipurogamaiḥ yatra tau ṛṣī tapas tepetuḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: O Janamejaya, having heard Brahmā’s words, Indra went to that place together with all the hosts of gods, led by Bṛhaspati, where the two sages were performing austerities.
