Sanatsujāta on the Imperceptible Eternal Light (यत्तच्छुक्रं महज्ज्योतिः)
आत्मैव स्थानं मम जन्म चात्मा ओतप्रोतो5हमजरप्रतिष्ठ: । अजकश्षरो दिवारात्रमतन्द्रितो 5हं मां विज्ञाय कविरास्ते प्रसन्न:,आत्मा ही मेरा स्थान है और आत्मा ही मेरा जन्म (उद्गम) है। मैं सबमें ओतप्रोत और अपनी अजर ([नित्य-नूतन) महिमामें स्थित हूँ। मैं अजन्मा, चराचर-स्वरूप तथा दिन-रात सावधान रहनेवाला हूँ। मुझे जानकर ज्ञानी पुरुष परम प्रसन्न हो जाता है
ātmaiva sthānaṃ mama janma cātmā otaproto 'ham ajara-pratiṣṭhaḥ | ajaḥ kṣaro divārātram atandrito 'haṃ māṃ vijñāya kavir āste prasannaḥ ||
Sanatsujāta declares the Self as the ultimate ground: “The Self alone is my abode, and the Self alone is my origin. I pervade all beings, interwoven through them, yet I stand established in an unaging, ever-fresh majesty. Unborn, present as the moving and the unmoving, and ever wakeful through day and night—knowing me thus, the wise seer abides in deep serenity.”
