Sanatsujāta on Vedic Learning, Truth (Satya), and the Discipline of Dama–Tyāga–Apramāda

antavataḥ kṣatriyā te jayanti lokān janāḥ karmaṇā nirmalena | brahmaiva vidvāṁs tena cābhyeti sarvaṁ nānyaḥ panthā ayanāya vidyate, rājan ||

Sanatsujāta said: “O King, men—especially kṣatriyas—by pure and blameless action win only those worlds that have an end. But the wise knower of Brahman, through that very knowledge, attains the all-pervading Supreme Reality. For liberation, there is no other path to the Goal besides knowledge.”
