Sanatsujāta on Vedic Learning, Truth (Satya), and the Discipline of Dama–Tyāga–Apramāda

ya āśrayet pāvayec cāpi rājan sarvaśarīraṃ tapasā tapyamānaḥ | etena vai bālyam abhyeti vidvān mṛtyuṃ tathā sa jayaty antakāle ||

Sanatsujāta said: “O King, one who takes refuge in this discipline of brahmacarya and, while practicing austerity through self-restraint, purifies even the whole body—by this very means the wise person attains a childlike state, free from attachment and aversion. And at the final hour, such a one conquers death itself.”
