Vidura says: “Fire is a mighty power that lies hidden within wood; as long as no one kindles it, it does not burn that very wood. But when the same fire is brought forth by churning the sticks, it flares up and, by its brilliance, quickly consumes the wood itself, the forest, and whatever else is near. The ethical warning is clear: latent forces—especially anger, hostility, or conflict—may remain harmless while unprovoked, but once deliberately stirred, they can rapidly destroy their very source and spread ruin far beyond the original cause.”
