भीष्मस्वप्न-स्मृत्युपाख्यानम् | Bhīṣma’s Dream-Linked Recollection of the Paraśurāma Combat

भगवन्नेवमेवैतद्‌ यथा55ह भगवांस्तथा । अजेयो युधि भीष्मो5यमपि देवैरुदारधी:

Transliteration

bhagavann evam evaitad yathāha bhagavāṁs tathā | ajeyo yudhi bhīṣmo ’yam api devair udāradhīḥ ||

Translation

Rāma said: “O venerable one, it is exactly so—just as you have declared. This Bhīṣma, noble in understanding, is unconquerable in battle, even by the gods themselves.”
