ततो<ब्रवीत्‌ सागरगा जिह्दां चरसि भाविनि । नैष कामो5नवलद्याड़ि शक्‍्य: प्राप्तुं त्वयाबले

Transliteration

tato 'bravīt sāgaragā jihvāṃ ca rasi bhāvini | naiṣa kāmo 'navaladyāḍi śakyaḥ prāptuṃ tvayābale ||

Translation

Then Rāma said: “O you who move in the ocean, O tender one—your tongue indeed roams restlessly. Yet this desire cannot be fulfilled; it is not possible for you, weak as you are, to attain it.”
