भीष्मस्वप्न-स्मृत्युपाख्यानम् | Bhīṣma’s Dream-Linked Recollection of the Paraśurāma Combat

तामब्रवीच्च कौरव्य मम माता जले स्थिता । किमर्थ क्लिश्यसे भद्रे तथ्यमेव वदस्व मे

Transliteration

tām abravīc ca kauravya mama mātā jale sthitā | kimarthaṁ kliśyase bhadre tathyam eva vadasva me ||

Translation

Rāma said: “O descendant of Kuru, my mother is standing in the water. For what reason do you torment yourself, noble lady? Tell me the truth—speak plainly to me.”
