Then I beheld Jāmadagnya (Paraśurāma) stationed in the midst of his chariot—resplendent, equipped with the finest of weapons, and of a wondrous, incomparable appearance.
भीष्म उवाच
The verse underscores how extraordinary power and splendor, when aligned with dharma, functions as moral authority in a crisis: the warrior’s readiness and restraint-laden presence becomes a serious ethical signal, not mere display.
Bhīṣma narrates that he sees Paraśurāma (Jāmadagnya), radiant and fully armed, positioned in his chariot—marking the dramatic entrance of a formidable figure into the unfolding conflict.
