काये विषक्तास्तु तदा वायुना समुदीरिता: । चेलु: क्षरन्तो रुधिरं नागा इव च ते शरा:

Transliteration

kāye viṣaktāstu tadā vāyunā samudīritāḥ | celuḥ kṣaranto rudhiraṃ nāgā iva ca te śarāḥ ||

Translation

Then those arrows, embedded fast in the bodies, were stirred and set quivering by the wind; and as they moved, they oozed blood—like serpents writhing.
