Shloka 42

अम्बाया रामजामदग्न्यशरणगमनम्

Ambā Seeks Refuge with Rāma Jāmadagnya

तस्मात्‌ काम॑ ममाद्येमं राम सम्पादयानघ । जहि भीष्म महाबाहो यथा वृत्र पुरंदर:

tasmāt kāmaṁ mamādyemaṁ rāma sampādayānagha | jahi bhīṣma mahābāho yathā vṛtraṁ purandaraḥ ||

Therefore, O blameless Rāma, fulfill this desire of mine today. O mighty-armed one, strike down Bhīṣma, just as Purandara (Indra) slew Vṛtra.
