अम्बा-शाल्वसंवादः | Amba’s Appeal to Śālva and His Refusal

तस्य दारक्रियां तात चिकीर्षुरहमप्युत । अनुरूपादिव कुलादित्येव च मनो दथे,तात! तब मैंने अपने योग्य कुलसे कन्या लाकर उनका विवाह करनेका निश्चय किया

tasya dārakriyāṃ tāta cikīrṣur aham apy uta | anurūpād iva kulād ity eva ca mano dadhe, tāta ||

My child, wishing to perform his marriage rites, I resolved in my mind to bring him a bride from a family truly suitable to him.
