तस्य बुद्धि: समुत्पन्ना द्वितीय: स्थात् कथं सुतः । एकपुत्रमपुत्रं वै प्रवदन््ति मनीषिण:,“अत: उनके मनमें यह विचार उत्पन्न हुआ कि "मेरे दूसरा पुत्र कैसे हो? क्योंकि मनीषी पुरुष एक पुत्रवालेको पुत्रहीन ही बताते हैं
Translation
Then this thought arose in his mind: “How might I have a second son? For the wise declare that one who has but a single son is, in truth, as one without a son.”
