susaṃhataḥ keśavena tāta gaccha yudhiṣṭhiram | cara svastyayanaṃ kṛtsnaṃ bharatānām anāmayam ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “Dear one, go—well-prepared and in concert with Keśava—to Yudhiṣṭhira. Carry out the entire auspicious mission so that the Bharatas may remain free from harm.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse emphasizes responsible action aimed at collective welfare: one should proceed well-prepared, guided by wise counsel (Keśava), and prioritize an auspicious, peace-securing course so that the wider community (the Bharatas) is protected from harm.
In the Udyoga Parva’s pre-war negotiations, an instruction is given to approach Yudhiṣṭhira together with Kṛṣṇa and to undertake a complete ‘svastyayana’—a mission intended to secure auspiciousness and avert calamity for the Bharata lineage.
