गालवेन उशीनरराजसमागमः

Gālava’s Audience with King Uśīnara

एतच्च मे बहुमतं यदुत्सृज्य नराधिपान्‌ । मामेवमुपयातो5सि भावि चैतदसंशयम्‌,यह मेरे लिये बड़े सम्मानकी बात है कि आप दूसरे राजाओंको छोड़कर मेरे पास इस रूपमें प्रार्थी होकर आये हैं। नि:संदेह ऐसा ही भावी है

etac ca me bahumataṃ yad utsṛjya narādhipān | mām evam upayāto 'si bhāvi caitad asaṃśayam ||

To me this is a matter of great honor: that, setting aside other kings, you have come to me in this manner as a petitioner. And this, without doubt, is destined to be so.
