Educational Q&A

The verse highlights truthful disclosure and responsible offering: Nārada clearly states what is immediately available in the requested quality, while also noting additional resources of other kinds—an ethic of transparency and appropriate giving.

In conversation with Brahmā, Nārada reports his current stock of horses: two hundred are ready matching Brahmā’s requirement, while many more horses of other breeds are also present and roaming.
