धन-निरुक्ति तथा गालवस्य गुरुदक्षिणा-प्रसङ्गः

Etymology of Wealth and the Gurudakṣiṇā Predicament of Gālava

अभिवाद्य सुपर्णस्तु गालवश्वाभिपूज्य ताम्‌ । तया च स्वागतेनोक्तौ विष्टरे संनिषीदतु:

abhivādya suparṇas tu gālavaś cābhipūjya tām | tayā ca svāgatenoktau viṣṭare saṃniṣīdatu ||

Having offered respectful salutations, Suparṇa (Garuḍa) duly honored her; and she, welcoming them, invited them to sit upon a prepared seat.
