Strī Parva, Adhyāya 2 — Vidura’s Consolation on Kāla, Karma, and the Limits of Lamentation (विदुरोपदेशः)

अन्यामन्यां धनावस्थां प्राप्प वैशेषिकीं नरा:

anyām anyāṁ dhanāvasthāṁ prāpya vaiśeṣikīṁ narāḥ

Men, having attained differing conditions of wealth and fortune, each come to a distinct and particular state—showing how worldly circumstances vary from person to person and are not stable grounds for pride or despair.
