Chapter 86

भीष्म उवाच एवमेतन्महाप्राज्ञ यथा वदसि बुद्धिमन्‌ । दुर्लभ: पुरुष: कश्रिदेभियुक्तो गुणै: शूभै:,भीष्मजीने कहा--महा प्राज्ञ! परम बुद्धिमान्‌ युधिष्ठिर! तुम जैसा कहते हो, वह ठीक ऐसा ही है। वस्तुत: इन सभी शुभ गुणोंसे सम्पन्न किसी एक पुरुषका मिलना कठिन है

bhīṣma uvāca | evam etan mahāprājña yathā vadasi buddhiman | durlabhaḥ puruṣaḥ kaścid ebhiyukto guṇaiḥ śubhaiḥ ||

Bhishma said: “So it is, O great sage; just as you say, O wise one. Indeed, it is rare to find even a single man who is endowed with these auspicious virtues.”
