नराधिपश्चाप्यनुशिष्य मेदिनीं दमेन सत्येन च सौहृदेन । महद्विरिष्टवा क्रतुभिर्महायशा- स्त्रिविष्टपे स्थानमुपैति शाश्वतम्‌,राजा भी इन्द्रियसंयम, सत्य और सौहार्दके साथ इस पृथ्वीका भलीभाँति शासन करके बड़े-बड़े यज्ञोंके अनुष्ठानद्वारा महान्‌ यशका भागी हो स्वर्गलोकमें सनातन स्थान प्राप्त कर लेता है

Transliteration

narādhipaścāpy anuśiṣya medinīṃ damena satyena ca sauhṛdena | mahad viriṣṭvā kratubhir mahāyaśās triviṣṭape sthānam upaiti śāśvatam ||

Translation

A king who duly instructs and governs the earth with self-restraint, truth, and goodwill, and who performs great sacrificial rites, gains vast renown and attains an everlasting station in heaven.
