तयो: प्रीतो ददौ राजा पृथुर्वैन्य: प्रतापवान्‌ | अनूपदेशं सूताय मगधं मागधाय च,वेनके पुत्र प्रतापी राजा पृथुने उन दोनोंको प्रसन्न होकर पुरस्कार दिया। सूतको अनूप देश सागरतटवर्ती प्राप्त) और मागधको मगध देश प्रदान किया

tayoḥ prīto dadau rājā pṛthur vainyaḥ pratāpavān | anūpadeśaṃ sūtāya magadhaṃ māgadhāya ca ||

Bhishma said: Pleased with both of them, King Prithu Vainya, mighty in valor, granted rewards—he bestowed the coastal Anūpa region upon the Sūta, and the land of Magadha upon the Māgadha.
