अद्भयोउन्नि््रह्यृत: क्षत्रमश्मनो लोहमुत्थितम् । तेषां सर्वत्रगं तेज: स्वासु योनिषु शाम्यति
Transliteration
adbhyo 'nniḥṛtaḥ kṣatram aśmano loham utthitam | teṣāṁ sarvatragaṁ tejaḥ svāsu yoniṣu śāmyati ||
Translation
Bhishma said: “From the waters, royal power—the Kshatriya principle of rule and force—is drawn forth; from stone, iron is produced. Yet the energy that seems to pervade everywhere in these things ultimately becomes quiet and spent within its own proper source.”
