Śānti Parva, Adhyāya 52 — Bhīṣma’s Humility Before Kṛṣṇa and the Granting of Boons
tataḥ sarvārti-vaṁ divyaṁ puṣpa-varṣaṁ nabhas-talāt | papāta yatra vārṣṇeyaḥ sa-gāṅgeyaḥ sa-pāṇḍavaḥ ||
Then, from the vault of the sky, a divine shower of flowers—blossoms of every season—fell upon the place where Kṛṣṇa of the Vṛṣṇi line was seated together with Bhīṣma, the son of the Gaṅgā, and the Pāṇḍava Yudhiṣṭhira. That celestial offering proclaimed reverence for the sacred discourse on dharma and for the moral authority of those assembled.
