उशना वेद यच्छास्त्रं यच्च देवगुरुद्धिज: । तच्च सर्व सवैयाख्यं प्राप्तवान् कुरुसत्तम:
Translation
“The treatises (śāstra) known to Uśanā (Śukrācārya), and those known to the gods’ preceptor, the foremost brahmin Bṛhaspati—Bhīṣma, the best of the Kurus, obtained them all, complete with their explanations and commentaries.”
