Shloka 3
ईप्सितस्येव सम्प्राप्तिरन्नस्य समयेडतिथे: । एषितस्यात्मन: काले वृद्धस्यैव सुतो यथा
īpsitasyeva samprāptir annasya samaye ’titheḥ | eṣitasya ātmanaḥ kāle vṛddhasyeva suto yathā ||
The Brāhmaṇa said: “Just as a guest feels joy when food arrives at the proper time, just as one’s own heart is gladdened when a longed-for object is obtained at the right moment, and just as an aged man rejoices on gaining a son—so too, your words today give me that very same measure of delight.”
