Nāga-āyatana-darśana-pratīkṣā — The Brāhmaṇa’s Request and Waiting on the Gomatī

न तस्यान्य: प्रियतर: प्रतिबुद्धैर्महात्मभि: । विद्यते त्रिषु लोकेषु ततो5स्यैकान्तिकं गत:,वहाँके ज्ञानी-महात्मा भक्तोंसे बढ़कर भगवान्‌को तीनों लोकोंमें दूसरा कोई प्रिय नहीं है; अतः मैं अनन्य भावसे उन्हींकी शरणमें गया हूँ

na tasyānyaḥ priyataraḥ pratibuddhair mahātmabhiḥ | vidyate triṣu lokeṣu tato ’syāikāntikaṃ gataḥ ||

Nārada said: “For Him, among the awakened great-souled ones, there is no one dearer to Him anywhere in the three worlds. Therefore I have taken exclusive refuge in Him alone.”
