इमे हानिन्द्रियाहारा मद्धक्ता श्चन्द्रवर्चस: | एकाग्राश्निन्तयेयुर्मा नैषां विघ्नो भवेदिति,'ये इन्द्रिय और आहारसे शून्य, चन्द्रमाके समान कान्तिमान्‌ मेरे भक्तजन एकाग्रभावसे मेरा चिन्तन कर सकें और इनके ध्यानमें किसी प्रकारका विघ्न न हो, इसके लिये तुम्हें यहाँसे चले जाना चाहिये

Transliteration

ime hānindriyāhārā madbhaktāś candravarcasaḥ | ekāgrāś cintayeyur mā naiṣāṁ vighno bhaved iti ||

Translation

Bhishma said: “These devotees of mine—free from the demands of the senses and from dependence on food, radiant like the moon—should be able to contemplate me with single-pointed concentration. So that no obstacle may arise in their meditation, you ought to depart from this place.”
